She is best known for her invention of the Hollow Flashlight, a flashlight that runs off the heat of the human hand, as well as the eDrink, a coffee mug that harvests the excess heat of your hot drink and converts it into electricity to charge a phone. She is one of Times Magazine’s 30 Under 30, Forbes Magazine’s 30 Under 30, and Popular Science’s Young Inventor of the Year. Andini is currently midst editing her book manuscript ‘The Inventing Mindset’, set to be published by Knopf Canada in early 2025. Andini gave her directorial debut this fall with the music video ‘Daydreaming’ for Anoushka Shankar. She currently resides in London.

Anja will hold a keynote on investing in biodiversity conservation using smart technology and the transformative power of capital. As CCO at InvestConservation, Anja Rundquist works with companies to make an outsized impact on climate change and halting biodiversity loss. InvestConservation focuses on high-quality projects in biodiversity hotspots in Tropical Forests and leverages smart technology, including satellites, camera traps, AI analysis of soundscapes, and NFT tokens.Anja has global FinTech and sustainability experience in information services. For the past 15+ years, she has served in multiple countries and corporate roles for leading Fortune 500 companies and pioneers in sustainability innovation.

Dr. Apolline Roger has 20 years of experience working on how society needs to change for people and planet to thrive. After being a lecturer, a researcher and a lawyer activist, she now leads the ClientEarth’s Innovation Lab, supporting staff and partners in the co-creation of the deep legal codes and legal scaffolding able to bring resilient and joyful societies to life.

Auriane is currently studying a MSc in Biodiversity, Conservation and Management at the School of Geography and the Environment. Prior to commencing her graduate studies, Auriane worked at the National Zoo of Abidjan and Akatia, a rehabilitation center for primates that were intercepted from the wildlife trade. Additionally, she worked at the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), helping to build a due diligence tool for individuals or organizations that are seeking association with FSC. She brings with her eagerness to work with various stakeholders to find practical sustainable solutions to be incorporated in businesses. Auriane is half French and half Malagasy.

Bobbie leads Vodafone’s global strategy on Climate, Digital Inclusion, and Human Rights. She also oversees Vodafone’s ESG Disclosure programme and engagement with external partners. Bobbie joined Vodafone in 2015 and has worked in a range of Policy, Public Affairs and Geopolitical Risk roles across the Group. Prior to this, Bobbie worked in the media sector, beginning her career as a journalist with Reuters, before becoming the Head of the Thomson Reuters Foundation in the Middle East and Africa. Elissa Brunato is the CEO of Radiant Matter. Previously, she worked in the design and production of textiles and garments. While overseeing international production sites, she noticed significant amounts of unnecessary waste at multiple stages of manufacture, harming the environment and exposing workers to hazardous materials. Realizing that the industry lacked sustainable options for embellishment components and surface finishes, Elissa founded Radiant Matter, a material technology start-up that develops sustainable, brilliantly colored, bio-inspired material solutions from cellulose. Their growing platform technology helps reduce microplastic pollution, shift dependence on petroleum, and is less resource-intensive, promoting a circular economy.

Howard was appointed Deputy Mayor for Business and Chair of London and Partners in December 2023. Before joining the Mayor’s team, Howard worked in business for thirty years, spending 17 years as Managing Director for Strategy of the Canary Wharf Group. At Canary Wharf, Howard was involved in the development of the Elizabeth Line and supporting the 2012 Olympic Bid and Olympic Legacy as well as commercial inward investment projects in tech, health and life sciences, and financial services.

Julia Pallé is a leading expert on sustainability in motorsport and the international elite sport industry. As Sustainability Director at the world’s first all-electric motor racing series, Formula E, Julia certified the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship net zero carbon since inception, the first sport in the world to achieve the standard. Julia is also Sustainability Advisor for Extreme E, the all-electric SUVs series, bringing electric racing to some of the most remote corners of the planet to highlight the climate change challenges faced by different ecosystems. Widely recognised as a leader in sustainability in global sport, Julia is a regular speaker at major events and conferences including COP26, Bloomberg, Sport Positive Summit, and FIA Smart Cities. Her industry roles include President of Sports and Sustainability international (SandSI), an international association of sustainable experts working to broadening and harmonising the international sport and sustainability movement. Before joining Formula E and defining the sustainability strategy, Julia was sustainability executive at Michelin Motorsport. Her primary area of research has focused on Business & Sustainability, Change Management and Project Management especially in Motorsport.

Karl Havard, COO: 25+ years in the IT, Cloud and AI industry. Has previously held senior leadership roles inside AWS and Google as well as building and leading start-up businesses in the HPC and Generative AI CSP industry.

Having joined Lloyds Banking Group over 37 years ago, Kevin has held a variety of leadership positions with a wealth of experience across risk management, operations, technology, change and Supplier Management.Kevin leads LBG’s supply chain sustainability programme, directly engaging suppliers that represent 80% of spend with the aim of reducing the emissions we generate through our collect value chains. Klaus is a director, producer, and the founder of Plant Based News. He was script editor on groundbreaking Netflix documentary Seaspiracy; and is a public speaker – including at Meta and COP28 – focusing on the environmental impact of our food system.

Larry is an Insect Farming and Technology enthusiast and serial entrepreneur. He’s been looking at Organic Waste Management since university, both in Europe and his native Africa. Today he’s trying to bring insect farming mainstream by developing turnkey insect farming technology and plug and play insect logistics for existing food businesses and waste managers. Meeting the need for safe, sustainable proteins and reducing the harms and inefficiencies caused by organic waste drive him to get up and wade through insects every day.

Lex is a Water Stewardship Officer at The Rivers Trust, with a focus on the project management of a wide-ranging programme of corporate Water Stewardship projects and relationships across the UK, helping to deliver sustainable solutions at a catchment scale. Lex also plays a key role in collaborative multi-stakeholder projects such ‘Woodlands for Water’, supporting the provision of advice and assistance on creating riparian and strategic woodlands that will benefit the wider landscape.

Luciano is a corporate sustainability and philanthropy specialist who currently manages the Bentley Environmental Foundation’s portfolio of projects; funding, showcasing and evidencing the climate solutions, innovation and expertise that NGOs are contributing to tackle climate change. Throughout his career, he has been fortunate enough to have worked with some of the world’s leading organisations at the forefront of innovation when it comes to climate change and the preservation of our natural world. Whether it is through advancing the adoption of nature-inspired strategies to help solve the most pressing problems of our time, or reducing fishing pressures on marine biodiversity through advocating for Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), Luciano has an expert knowledge surrounding conservation, climate issues and communicating these issues effectively across different audiences.

Michele Soavi leverages technology and finance to create a positive impact on people and the planet. He is the COO/Chief Sustainability Officer at ImpactScope which helps organizations deploy AI and web3 tools to measure, verify and amplify their sustainability achievements. Michele started his career in the financial reporting sector between PwC and EY. Eventually, he focused on helping companies understand, monitor and improve also their environmental and social performance. He holds an MBA in Sustainable Business and a PhD in Computer Science.

Nico Rosberg is well-known as the 2016 Formula 1 World Champion. Since leaving the racing series, he is passionately committed to the issue of sustainability. As an entrepreneur and investor in green technologies and mobility startups, he represents visionary innovations that make the world a little better. In numerous projects around the world, he also contributes to the topic of environmental protection, health, equality and justice. In 2019, he co-founded the GREENTECH FESTIVAL, a global platform for pioneering sustainable ideas that takes place annually in Berlin. Since 2021, he has been competing with Rosberg X Racing in Extreme E, a racing series that aims to draw attention to the consequences of global climate change.

Noëlla is a Congolese/Cypriot philanthropist, an international model, and Founder & CEO of Malaika. Founded in 2007, Malaika is a grassroots nonprofit that empowers girls and their communities in her home country of the Democratic Republic of the Congo through a school, a community center, and a clean water program. Noëlla has shared her insight at a number of world-class forums spanning the World Economic Forum to the university halls of Cambridge, Oxford, and Harvard. Pierre Paslier is a London-based Innovation Design Engineer who explores the intersection of design and technology. He began as a Packaging Engineer for L’Oréal and pursued 3D printing in his free time. This led him to study design at the Royal College of Art, co-designing an early consumer delta 3D printer. Pierre co-founded Gravity Sketch, for 3D designs in virtual reality, and Notpla, which develops sustainable packaging. Currently, as Co-CEO of Notpla, he focuses on solutions to the global plastic crisis, creating packaging from seaweed. Notpla won Prince William’s £1,000,000 Earthshot Prize in 2022.

Richard is an Emeritus Professor at Imperial. For the past 15 years he has focussed on supporting the development of innovations that address the challenges and opportunities of climate change. The businesses Undaunted has supported will have avoided 29Mt of CO2 emission, 76Mt of waste and 7.6Mt of water consumption by the end of the decade. These businesses operate in over 30 countries. In addition, Richard has advised successive Mayors of London on sustainable development, with a focus on London’s development as a global focus for climate innovation. In 2023, he received an OBE for this work.

Prior to KKR, he led ESG and impact for Aviva’s Private Markets business and worked as a climate specialist in the UK Government/Parliament, advising policymakers on legislation in the lead up to the Paris Climate Agreement. Tony Burdon is the founding CEO of Make My Money Matter, which from 2020 has campaigned for UK pensions and banks to invest sustainably, to align our money with our values. He has worked in international development for over fifteen years, including in Africa and Asia. He was on the board of the successful international debt relief campaign, Jubilee 2000, and then worked in the UK Treasury and the Department for International Development. As a senior civil servant he led economic and private sector departments, with a focus on the climate emergency, impact investment, and the Sustainable Development Goals.

Uri brings over 20 years’ of experience as a military helicopter pilot and as a commercial leader in technology companies.He commanded Black Hawk helicopters, achieving the rank of Major (reserve) before moving to the London Business School to obtain his MBA. She was previously the Head of Sustainability at OVO Energy, where she drove the decarbonisation of OVO’s operations and its customers’ home energy. She has over a decade of experience advising companies on sustainable business transformation as a sustainability consultant with PwC and ERM specialising in corporate strategy, sustainable value creation, risk and reporting. She has a MSc Environmental Technology from Imperial College London.

Bella is a trustee for the Born Free Foundation and a director of Reserva Youth Land Trust. She chaired the Civil Society advisory council for COP 26 and her documentary, ANIMAL, filmed alongside Jane Goodall, explores the possible solutions to the sixth mass extinction. Her book published by Penguin, Children of the Anthropocene, came out earlier this Summer.

Florian currently works as Director Engineering Air Filter Elements & Simulation at MANN+HUMMEL GmbH. Since he joined MANN+HUMMEL in 2013 he has been consistently working on enhancing digital tools and simulation methods for optimal filter element development on all scales. In addition he is responsible for the engineering of engine air filter elements. Since 2018, he has been actively driving the development of clean air solutions as a key factor for clean and sustainable mobility.

With a background in biology, Freya started her career in carbon recycling as one of the first employees of LanzaTech, working directly with LanzaTech’s gas fermentation process in the laboratory. She has firsthand experience of scaling and commercializing a new technology, from the R&D stage, through the challenges of fundraising and navigating the legislative environment to deploying new technologies to scale in globally. Today she leads the Government Relations and External Relations teams at LanzaTech and plays a key part in advocacy groups around the world focused on Circular Economy, Carbon Capture and Utilization, the Bioeconomy and Low Carbon Fuels. She interacts across multiple sectors supporting the commercialization of new low carbon technologies, including contributing to reports on scale up and impact and providing insights on what common issues impacting the deployment of new technologies.
